Community School Facilitator

Description of Position

This position will promote and lead a coordinated approach matching school and community resources to support identified academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of students. The Community School Facilitator will prioritize strong partnerships and shared leadership among school staff, families, students, teachers and community organizations. The Community School Facilitator serves as a bridge between campus partners and school staff, making sure that academics, student and family supports, out-of-school time programs, family and community engagement, adult education, volunteers and community partnerships are working together to support achievement for every student along the cradle to career pipeline. The Community School Facilitator works closely with campus leadership, including the Principal, as well as the district-level Community School administrators and campus staff of other schools across their Vertical Team.
