Hello Coordinators!

We are so excited to have this site up and running!

To start, I would like to introduce myself.  My name is Annie Bogenschutz and I am one of the Co-chairs for this network.  After nearly a decade of involvement with Cincinnati Public Schools' Community Learning Centers, I am the Director of Training and Development at the Community Learning Center Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio. Before joining CLCI, I held the position of Resource Coordinator at Ethel M. Taylor Academy for over 6 years which was recognized as a 2011 Coalition for Community Schools National Award of Excellence. I have been lucky to have been a featured panelist on MSNBC’s Education Nation Teacher’s Town Hall (2011) and highlighted in numerous publications including the recent cover story in the American Teacher magazine.

To give you a little history... Carol Hill (San Fran Beacon Schools) and myself (Cincinnati Community Learning Centers) led a Coordinators Pre Conference Event at the Coalition National Forum in San Fransico in May 2012.  Many coordinators from around the country attended this event and one thing that came out of the great conversations was the desire for coordinators to be able to connect, share and learn from each other.  That is when the idea for this online network began and we are so happy to see the idea come to life.

Carol and I are very excited to get to know all of you!  We can not wait to learn and share.  Feel free to reach out to Carol and myself with and questions or concerns.   Welcome and let's have fun!
