Regional RESA Wraparound Services Coordinator

Description of Position

The purpose of this position is to provide a regional approach to wraparound services to help eliminate barriers to student learning in identified schools.Regional RESA coordinators work in this first cohort of schools to:
Conduct on-site surveys/interviews to identify the non-academic needs of the schools
Asset map existing community resources, organizations, nonprofits, governmental entities
Identify existing partnerships between the school and community/state entities
Create and assist with implementing wraparound services that complement the academic priorities identified in the school improvement plans (SIPs)
Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with GaDOE’s District Effectiveness Specialists (DES) to align efforts and ensure ongoing district-level support
