Birth to Five Community School Coordinator

Description of Position

The role of a Birth to Five CSC is to seek alignment between our 0-3 home visiting program and the preschool. In addition, I am able to connect with community partners to strategize how to best support the families in conjunction with families. I also facilitate the West Chicago Early Childhood Collaboration, which is a group of early childhood providers, experts, and community organizations seeking to help families in the birth to five community feel supported, healthy and eager to learn.

Through the network, I will be able to learn how other Early Childhood CSC are able to create new initiatives for families, to align birth to five work to the elementary schools and share ideas with others in the network.
