Community School Coordinator

Description of Position

The Community School Coordinator is primarily responsible for
implementation, integration, and alignment with the State of Maryland’s establishment of community schools and Prince
George’s County Public Schools’ community schools policy. The CSC will work collaboratively with school and
community-based stakeholders to coordinate expanded learning opportunities and wraparound services to students and
families within identified schools; assess school, family and community needs and assets; reduce barriers to student
achievement; promote increased academic outcomes; and, foster family stability. This role will promote positive outcomes
for students, families, and the school community.
