The Community School Coordinators Network is a forum for Community School Coordinators to share ideas and experiences, ask questions and get answers and have a centralized place to find resources and tools. Some community schools initiatives have many coordinators to support each other, others may only have a few, either way this network is a place to make connections so that no one has to reinvent the wheel and we can all learn from each other.
The Network members’ are people working in a coordinating position at local community schools. Their role broadly encompasses mobilizing and aligning partners with the work of the school and coordinating opportunities and supports for students, their families and the community. These individuals manage relationships between schools and external community partners including community-based organizations, businesses, health and human service agencies and institutions of higher education, among others.
People in this role may have many different titles including, Resource Coordinator, Site Manager, Partnership Coordinators, School-Community Partnership Coordinator, Partnership Specialists, etc.
Please note that coordinators will be required to fill in a screening sheet to join the network; Individuals not meeting these exact criteria will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
