10 years ago, as a teacher, I was fortunate to be part of an Action-Research Grant that engaged teachers in exploring their work with immigrant parents. It had a profound impact on me and it was the most empowering experience I've been part of with teachers and family engagement. That grant came from the Washington Area Partnership for Immigrants and the Mid Atlantic Equity Consortium.

I now work in Los Angeles as a coordinator, and I'm interested in creating a similar experience and opportunity for my teachers as a way for them to create ownership and build capacity around family engagement. 

Does anyone know of any resources to fund something like that? Or know of anyone I could talk to to help me out?
